Chung Wah Community and Aged Care (CAC) is a not-for-profit organisation under Chung Wah Association and is dedicated to improving the life quality of individuals from non-English speaking background in Western Australia. Through funding from both Commonwealth and State government, we have been delivering community care programs for seniors, their family members and ethnic communities since 1984. More than 700 customers are actively accessing and using services and programs delivered by professional bilingual staff, support workers and volunteers.
CAC is funded by:
- Home Care Package (HCP)
- Home and Community Care Program (HACC)
- National Respite for Carers Program (NRCP)
- Community Visitors Scheme (CVS), including home visits to eligible home care package recipients
- Emergency relief
Community and Aged Care quarterly newsletter
‘Living Stronger’ is a English, Chinese and Vietnamese tri-language quarterly newsletter produced by CAC. Each newsletter covers important CAC events, community and aged care news and information, and upcoming activities.
