Friendly Associations - Western Australia Oriental Culture and Art Association

Activities

The Western Australian Oriental culture and arts Association was formed in 2007, comprising members from Western Australia who are devoted to various aspects of Chinese culture and arts.

Headed by Mr. Edward Chin as the President, the Association has been active in our community, and has been an active proponent in promoting Chinese culture and arts in the wider community. The association conducts monthly meetings on the first Sunday at 2 pm at Heathcote cultural centre, Applecross, during which an artist, calligrapher, photographer or someone involved in as an aspect of Chinese culture would give a talk or demonstration of their skills. These talks are free of charge, open to the public.

The Western Australian Oriental Culture and Arts Association has close links to Chung Wah.
