100th Anniversary Logo
Design Competition
Calling all budding artists. Can you draw, paint
or just doodle? Are you the next Brett Whitely,
Picasso a bit arty or creative? Then we need
your talents…
Chung Wah is launching its 100th anniversary celebrations with a competition to
create a logo for this auspicious occasion. The
logo must reflect Chinese culture with an
Australian flavour. It can be calligraphy or a
symbolic design. We seek an eye-catching logo
suitable for letterheads, clothing such as t
shirts, ties & caps, posters, wine bottle labels
and other associated anniversary materials.
The competition is open for all
people, with one prize of A$500 cash donated by
Mr. Tan Kim Thai and Mr Wayne Tang. Good designs will
be published on Asia
Times.
Conditions of entry:
1. The competition is open to all.
2. Entry
size is A5.
3. Name,
address, contact numbers & date of birth to be attached
to each entry received.
4. Competition
closes on Friday August 31, 2007 at 4.00pm
5. All entries must be
received by the Chung Wah Office at 4:00pm, at
close of business.
6. All
entries become the property of the Chung Wah
Association.
7. Winning
entry will be used
at the discretion of the Executive Committee.
8. All
entries received after the deadline will not be
accepted.

中华会馆征集百年庆典徽记
为了迎接中华会馆成立一百周年，现中华会馆面向全社会征集百年庆典徽记，在这个百年盛会上使用。
参赛条件及要求：
（1）徽记必须反映一种富于澳大利亚风味的中华文化。它可以基于书法作品设计，也可以是其他符号设计。由中华会馆理事会商议决定，被选中的作品将可能被用于信笺和海报上，或被印在T恤衫、领带、帽子等衣物上，以及酒瓶商标上及其他与百年庆典活动相关的材料上。
（2）参赛作品尺寸：A5。
（3）请设计者在参赛作品上注明作者姓名、地址、联系电话和出生年月。
（4）所有参赛作品将被视为中华会馆的产权。
（4）参赛截止时间：2007年8月31日星期五下午4点。在此时间后收到的参赛作品均不被考虑。
这个有奖征集向所有人开放，任何年龄段都可以参加。优胜者将获得陈金泰先生和邓荣耀先生共同赞助的五百澳元现金奖。
优秀作品亦将在《亚洲时代》刊出。
