Dear Staff Members and Volunteers of Chung Wah Association,
As we welcome the New Year of 2026, I would like to extend, on behalf of Chung Wah Association, my heartfelt appreciation and warmest New Year greetings to you, and through you, to every staff member and volunteer who has dedicated their time and effort to our Association.
Chung Wah Association has a proud history of 117 years marked by perseverance, resilience, unity, and selfless dedication. Generation after generation, our predecessors built this Association through unwavering spirit, determination, and a deep commitment to serving and uniting the Chinese community in Australia. Their legacy has laid the foundation for the respected position Chung Wah Association holds today.
What allows this legacy to continue and thrive is the dedication of every one of you. Whether working behind the scenes or at the front line, in everyday service or during critical moments, your commitment, compassion, and sense of responsibility embody the true spirit of Chung Wah Association.
Chung Wah Association is not merely an organisation; it is a family. Each of us is an essential member of this family. Standing together, caring for one another, and serving our Chinese community reflect the core values passed down through 200 years of Chinese presence in Australia and 117 years of Chung Wah Association’s history.
In the year ahead, let us continue to work in unity, care for our elders, protect the vulnerable and our children, and strengthen Chung Wah Association so that it may continue to grow and serve the community with greater impact.
On this occasion, I extend my highest respect and sincere gratitude to every staff member and volunteer.
Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

President
Chung Wah Association
