The Chung Wah Association is proud to present the Perth Chinese New Year Fair 2026, celebrating the Lunar New Year and welcoming the Year of the Horse.
The Fair will be held on Sunday, 22 February 2026, from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, along James Street and Lake Street, Northbridge, including Northbridge Piazza.
One of Western Australia’s most vibrant cultural celebrations, the Perth Chinese New Year Fair offers a rich and immersive experience filled with culture, colour and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities, including cultural arts and craft workshops, competitions, games and rides, community stalls, and an exciting program of live performances. The event will also feature the highly anticipated lion and dragon dances, a highlight of the Lunar New Year festivities.
With free admission, the Fair is one of the largest and most popular community events in the City of Perth, attracting approximately 60,000 – 80,000 visitors, volunteers and participants each year. The Chung Wah Association warmly invites everyone to come together and share in the joy of celebrating the most vibrant festival in the Chinese calendar.
Reflecting Western Australia’s rich cultural diversity, the Fair will showcase multicultural food stalls and performances from various culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) communities, creating an inclusive celebration for people of all backgrounds.
