Celebrate the rich traditions of the Dragon Boat Festival with us at the Chung Wah Association’s Family Day event! Join us on June 25, 2024, from 2 pm, at the Chung Wah Balcatta Cultural Centre at 18 Radalj Place in Balcatta. This festival, also known as the Duan Wu Festival, honours Qu Yuan, a revered figure from ancient China best regarded as a patriot poet. Enjoy dragon boat races, indulge in delicious sticky rice dumplings (zongzi), and participate in special activities like rice-dumpling-making demonstrations and tasting. This event is perfect for children aged 4 to 12, accompanied by their families. Refreshments will be provided, and each participant will receive a DIY miniature dragon boat craft pack and a certificate of participation. Create cherished memories and embrace the spirit of this time-honoured festival with us!

与我们同在中华会馆的家庭日活动中颂扬端午节的丰富传统吧！活动将于2024年6月25日下午2点开始在Balcatta的中华文化中心举行（位于18号Radalj Place）。这个节日由来是为了纪念古代的伟大的爱国诗人屈原。您将能在当日观赏到到精彩的儿童龙舟赛，学习制作以及品尝美味的粽子。此次活动适合4至12岁的儿童与家人同乐。除了茶点外，本会并为每位参与者准备了DIY迷你龙舟手工包和参与证书。快来创造珍贵的回忆，与我们一同体验这个历史悠久的节日精神吧！
