IMPORTANT UPDATE The WA Government has announced a full lockdown for everyone living in metropolitan Perth and the Peel region for the next three days starting from midnight tonight Friday 23 April until 12.01am Tuesday 27 April 2021, pending obliging expert health advice. During this time, Chung Wah Hall in James St and Chung Wah Cultural Centre in Balcatta will be closed for activities and visitors. All Chung Wah Chinese School classes will be postponed for one week at all campuses. Chung Wah encourages everyone to keep up to date with the latest announcements from the State Government. Should the lockdown not be extended beyond Monday, then we expect activities will be able to return to normal on Tuesday. If the lockdown is extended further, then we will review the Directions and provide advice as necessary. Please check our website Chungwah.org.au or our Facebook page for the latest updates on Chung Wah's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Stay safe and remember to wear masks when you are outside of your home, maintain social distancing and wash your hands.
