2024 Perth Chinese New Year Fair

The Perth Chinese New Year Fair will be held on Sunday, 11 January 2024, to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Dragon. Held between James and Lake Street, Northbridge Piazza from 12 – 9 pm and Yagan Square from 12 – 5pm. Rich in culture and full of entertainment, featuring highly anticipated lion and dragon dances, children’s activities, cultural performances, parade, multicultural concert and food stalls.

This annual free-admission street carnival is one of the largest and most popular community events in the City of Perth, with an annual attendance of 35,000 visitors, volunteers and participants. Celebrate the Chinese festival and culture and the cultural diversity of the Western Australian community with stalls, art and craft workshops, competitions, games and rides, and colourful cultural performances.
