Chung Wah Fundraising Dinner for Bentley Community Centre Building Fund
The Chung Wah Association cordially invites you buy a ticket or a table at the fund-raising dinner for The Chung Wah Community Centre, Bentley. The dinner will be at Pinn’s Palace (1301 Albany Hwy, Cannington WA 6107) on May 25, 2025, starting at 6pm. This event is vital for securing funds needed to build the Chung Wah Community Centre, Bentley.
The upcoming Community Centre will serve multiple purposes including community functions, aged care respite services, and as a hub for cultural activities. It aims to be a welcoming space for the Chinese community south of the river and will also be available for use by other communities.
The construction, managed by Encon Project Management, is set to commence in October 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2025. The total cost for Stage 1 of the building is projected at about $10 million, with $6.75 million in funding provided by the WA State and Federal Government, whose support we deeply appreciate.
Our fundraising goal for Stage 1 is $1 million by December 2024. We invite you to join us in making this community landmark a reality. Your support can make a significant difference.
The ticket prices for the fundraising dinner start at $100 per person, which includes a sumptuous nine-course Chinese banquet accompanied by chinese tea, soft drinks, and wine. Exclusive seating options are available for our esteemed donors: the single Platinum Table is offered at $5,000, followed Gold Table at $3,000, and Silver Table at $1,000. All proceeds from this event will directly support the construction of the Chung Wah Community Centre in Bentley. Thank you for your support.
